In-Person Event: Ethics, Values, and Positive Impact in Sports Management

In-Person Event: Ethics, Values, and Positive Impact in Sports Management
Event poster

On September 3, together with INDESCAT (the Catalan Sports Industry Cluster) and in collaboration with the Barcelona Sports Hub, we are hosting an event dedicated to ethics, values, and positive impact in sports. Under the slogan “The future of sports is decided now,” we aim to create a space for reflection and debate to analyze how ethical principles influence governance, decision-making, and the management of sports organizations.

Within this framework, the legal perspective stands as a central and essential pillar to guarantee the transformation toward a transparent, responsible sports model fully committed to society. This is a vision that we share and champion at Sports Law Hub, with the mission of empowering and supporting professionals in shaping this new sports landscape.

The event will take place in person at the MGC Mútua headquarters in Barcelona, bringing together key professionals and figures from the institutional, legal, academic, and sports spheres. Registration is still open, and we encourage our readers to reserve their spot through the official INDESCAT event portal.

Beyond Business: Ethics in Sports Management

The sports industry is experiencing unprecedented global growth. However, when financial and geopolitical impacts overshadow the essence of the game, there is a risk of alienating sports from their core value: social cohesion, integrity, and personal achievement. Fortunately, there is a broad community of professionals committed to transparency and rigor in management. This event aims to serve as a platform for this ethical leadership and to highlight the best practices that ensure a sustainable future for the sector.
