What will you learn?
Master the global anti-doping ecosystem. Participants will gain a strategic vision of the system, understanding not only the WADA regulatory framework but also the roles, responsibilities, and interactions between the different authorities (ITA, federations, NADOs, and even the police) to know who to approach and how at each stage of the process.
Audit the testing procedure with technical rigor. Going beyond theory, participants will learn to critically analyze every step of the doping control process—from sample collection and the functioning of ADAMS to the Athlete Biological Passport—to identify potential procedural flaws and ensure the defense of an athlete’s rights.
Lead the comprehensive and multidisciplinary defense of the athlete. Participants will develop a complete action plan for when a client tests positive. This includes not only the legal strategy (including TUEs) but also reputational crisis management alongside journalists and handling the mental health impact on the athlete with the support of psychologists.
Develop litigation and advocacy techniques for the CAS. Participants will acquire practical and advanced skills for hearing preparation, mastery of cross-examination, and the articulation of solid arguments, using CAS jurisprudence and landmark cases as a strategic tool to build a successful defense.
Anticipate and confront the future challenges of anti-doping. Participants will position themselves one step ahead by analyzing emerging challenges such as technological doping and its regulation in Esports, and by understanding the operation of anti-doping programs at major sports events to offer comprehensive, forward-thinking advice.
This full immersion in the world of anti-doping offers the most effective path to deepening your expertise, advancing your career, and acquiring the core competencies required to excel in this highly demanding and specialized field.
